North Central Texas College Selects Grade Results as Online Tutoring and Distance Learning Provider
Gainesville, TX, October 09, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Grade Results, the leading innovator of live, one-to-one online instruction, is pleased to announce that North Central Texas College (NCTC) has selected it as its online tutoring provider for the 2010-2011 academic year. Through this program, NCTC students will have access to Grade Results’ Graduation Advancement Plan, which includes expert instruction and customized curriculum delivered via the company’s proprietary live, one-to-one, online platform. “The majority of our students are working in addition to attending school, and 24 percent take at least one online course. The Grade Results’ Graduation Advancement Plan is focused on three areas of importance for NCTC students: attaining readiness for college-level coursework, providing remediation where necessary and achieving retention to improve the college’s overall rate of graduation.
Numerous studies have shown that when students have adequate access to support services and feel that success is attainable, their propensity to stay in school and obtain a diploma are greatly increased.
