Massage Therapy Project “Home” Announces Boulder College of Massage Therapy to House Massage History Repository
Boulder, CO, October 09, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Massage Therapy Project, sponsored by the World Massage Festival and Massage Therapy Hall of Fame, is pleased to announce the Massage History Repository will be housed at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in Boulder, Colorado.
Founded in 1975, the Boulder College of Massage Therapy (BCMT) is an independent, not-for-profit massage therapy college offering an internationally recognized Massage Therapy Certificate Program.
As a nonprofit massage school, their philosophy is to provide students with the diverse, hands-on experience they need to develop successful careers, while consistently giving back to the community through the healing power of touch. By accepting the Massage Therapy Project, they are once again demonstrating an inspiring vision, and a call to action to provide a “Home for Massage.”
The school will maintain a massage reference library and repository for massage-related literature, artifacts and history. Therapists, authors and instructors may submit their materials. They hope all contributors will attend the Grand Opening being planned for Spring, 2011.
Many items from private collections will be housed in the repository for present day therapists and future generations to view and learn from, as well as items from independent sources, the World Massage Festival and Massage Therapy Hall of Fame.
For more information on including your massage related books, DVDs and other works in the Massage History Repository, please contact Rocky Mountain Healing Arts Institute, dba Boulder College of Massage Therapy, Attn: Jan Combs, 6255 Longbow Drive, Boulder, CO 80301.
