The workshop is for nonprofit professionals that want to learn how to feel comfortable in a room full of strangers, meet new people, and build relationships. You will learn techniques that will assist you in developing new contacts to enrich your professional and private life.

Arlington Heights, IL, October 09, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Volunteer Center of Northwest Suburban Chicago (TVC) will be hosting a complimentary Community Networking Workshop on Wednesday, October 20 in honor of Make A Difference Day. The workshop is for nonprofit professionals that want to learn how to feel comfortable in a room full of strangers, meet new people, and build relationships. You will learn techniques that will assist you in developing new contacts to enrich your professional and private life. Sheila Schwartz, Assistant Vice President of Barrington Bank & Trust will be presenting, along with a representative of the Schaumburg Business Association. The workshop takes place at Forest View Educational Center, 2121 S Goebbert Rd, Arlington Heights, IL from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. This workshop is complimentary to all attendees, as a part of The Volunteer Center’s effort to “Make A Difference” in the community.
