Simply Stylist Opens for Its 8th Season During Los Angeles Fashion Week

Simply Stylist, Where Designers and Stylists Connect Opens for Appointments on October 13th and 14th

Los Angeles, CA, October 12, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Caro Marketing, a Los Angeles-based fashion marketing and public relations agency, announces its eighth season at Simply Stylist. Simply Stylist, the first private stylist fashion trade event showcases the spring 2011 collection for an elite group of the world’s emerging and established brands over two days to Los Angeles’ fashion glitterati. From October 13th and 14th, Simply Stylist is an exclusive destination for one hundred exclusive appointments at a private retail space on the iconic La Brea Boulevard.

The Simply Stylist experience began in 2005 by Caro Marketing’s Caroline Rothwell and Sarah Pollack as an event to honor stylists and connect brands directly to celebrities. As Rothwell explains, “We started Simply Stylist to recognize the power of Los Angeles. Rather than seeking the approval of other markets, we decided to showcase the strength of fashion in Los Angeles, recognizing that stylists are setting world trends and giving them an opportunity to see and interact with fashion in an intimate way.” Since its inception, Simply Stylist has grown to feature fifteen brands and for 2010 the addition of a public event, Fast Track to Styling with Simply Stylist, in support of the next generation of fashion tastemakers on October 13th at 8pm. For the first time in Simply Stylist’s history a Board of Advisors has been added bringing stylists and designers even closer together with creative input on the event production and brand participant selection. Bringing the styling and editorial communities in Los Angeles together to celebrate the power and influence of the entertainment industry and stylish stars.

Together with Caro Marketing, The Contact List Online will be co-hosting Simply Stylist’s spring 2011 presentation and feature Dina Bar-El, Grammy Label, Robert Graham, New Era, Camille K, Lena Erziak, PS Kaufman, Lodi's, Paul & Joe Homme, Paul & Joe Femme, Paul & Joe Sister, Little Paul & Joe, Agave Denim, Johnny Bechard, Alisa Michelle Designs and Caro Marketing’s pop-up showroom. Simply Stylist is the first ever networking event where editorial and celebrity stylists connect.
