Tuxedo Press Signs Craig Jurgensen, "Author of Tempo di Marcia"

Marcia Dale Weary founded the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet (CPYB) in 1955 and has grown it into a world-class school for ballet training. Numerous CYPB alumni now perform in ballet companies around the world and many have risen to become principal soloists. Dr. Jurgensen tells the story of the development of this renowned organization and the people who made it what it is today.

Carlisle, PA, October 13, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Tuxedo Press is pleased to announce that author Craig Jurgensen has signed with them to publish Tempo di Marcia: Stories from the History of Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. Dr. Jurgensen's professional writing career began in 1966 when he became a physician. He spent the next forty years treating patients and recording their biographical stories for the medical record. After retirement from the practice of neurology in 2007, he coupled his love of biography and his passionate immersion in the arts to writing the manifold story of the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet (CPYB). As the father of two former CPYB students, member of the Board of Directors since 2006, Board Secretary, and willing benefactor, Craig is intimately qualified to document the history of CPYB as well as the personages of its founder, staff, and students. In Tempo di Marcia, he illuminates the life long career of the legendary founder and inspirational teacher, Marcia Dale Weary, and her institutional home.

Craig will be at the inaugural Celebrate the Book festival on Saturday, October 23 at Carlisle Expo Center where he will be signing numbered, limited-edition copies of Tempo di Marcia.
