Lawrenceville Promotional Agency is Awarded for Website Design for Local Organization
Lawrenceville, GA, October 15, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Rock, Paper, Scissors, LLC, a full-service marketing, advertising and web development firm, was awarded an American Graphic Design award for their design and development of the Sherpani Partners website.
Sherpani Partners, an Atlanta-based nonprofit organization that provides career planning and advice to students and adults, approached Rock, Paper, Scissors about helping them develop a website that would be attractive to their demographic and would clearly explain their program. Rock, Paper, Scissors has worked with other non-profits in the past, making them the perfect match for Sherpani Partners.
Sherpani Partners had nothing but praise for Rock, Paper, Scissors and the new site, as co-owner Susan Solomon expressed: “This is a real milestone for us--having a professional website that gives us visibility to our potential clients. When we first talked with [them] about our site, it was obvious that Rock, Paper, Scissors was a top notch firm with plenty of creativity and professionalism. We did not know at the time what a pleasure that it would be to work with all of [them]. We are not always the easiest to work with because of our desire for ‘the best’ with a budget for only ‘good enough.’ Well, [Rock, Paper, Scissors] gave us ‘the best’. [They] worked with us to give us everything that we wanted and needed.”
The initial concepts for the site was inspired by a Sherpani Partners business card that they were thinking of redesigning. “We saw the business cards concept Sherpani Partners was about to toss out, and absolutely fell in love with the graphics and energy,” said art director Amanda Sutt. The resulting color scheme was appropriate for the demographic of the target market and the energy of the company. “This design was meant to look current/modern and capture the attention of students and young adults with the message – careers are by choice, not by chance,” said Hui Ting Low, one of the designers who worked on the project.
Rock, Paper, Scissors (RPS) is a hybrid agency staffed by professionals with nearly fifty years of collective marketing, design and web development expertise. They integrate Experience, Creativity and Technology – Creating solutions that increase visibility and profitability; building brands through imagination, innovation and smart solutions.
