World Mission Provides Winter Clothes for Wyoming Public Schools

World Mission has donated 500 winter coats for students that attend Wyoming Public Schools. These coats came from World Mission Thrift Stores whose proceeds help World Mission minister to poor and underprivileged people around the world.

Grandville, MI, October 15, 2010 --(PR.com)-- World Mission recently donated 500 winter coats to the Wyoming Community, including Wyoming Public, Godwin Public and Godfrey Lee Public School districts. These coats were donated for families in need and will be offered freely to parents this fall.

Oogie LaMar, Community Outreach and Adult Ed Coordinator for Wyoming Public Schools said, “All of the winter coats will be made available to parents for their students and/or siblings. Each family will be able to take what they need. World Mission is making a generous contribution which we appreciate.”

World Mission collects household items and gently used clothing for their 3 locally owned stores including their Wyoming location which is located at 2640 Burlingame Ave. SW just north of 28th St.

All of the proceeds from World Mission Thrift go toward helping the poorest of the poor around the world. According to Greg Kelley, Executive Director of World Mission, “Although we primarily focus upon those who are the most underprivileged in the world, we love our community and want to find ways to invest in the lives of families right here as well.”
