"Flight School" Set to Take Off
Dallas, TX, October 15, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Producer Eric Benson and writer/director Tomm Gillies of Abstract Chicken announced today that they have begun pre-production on their next project, "Flight School." The team behind such noted films as "Sundown" and "My Name is Joe," Benson and Gillies are finalizing the script and securing financing at this time.
"Flight School" explores the clash between commitments and desires. When a man allows an extra-marital affair to continue unabated for years, he is finally forced to deal with the truth in the one place he can't escape from... the window seat.
After glowing reviews of the footage captured for "My Name is Joe" using the Canon 5D Mark II, the team is debating whether to stick with the Canon, or to go with the Red One. Test shooting is scheduled to begin later this year.
Talks are under way with various Hollywood actors for the principal roles. The film will be shot in Los Angeles in 2011.
