Digital Projection Dealers Sweep CEDIA Awards
Atlanta, GA, October 15, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The 2010 CEDIA Expo Audience Choice and Designer Award recipients have now been publicly revealed. Digital Projection International (DPI), an Emmy® Award-winning manufacturer of high-performance projection systems, is pleased to announce that over 70% of the awards went to active DPI home cinema dealers. CEDIA’s Designer Awards recognize the best three projects within an array of integration categories. Numerous precision projectors from DPI’s home cinema product line are delivering the theater imagery within these “best of the best” projects, including both single and 3-chip DLP projectors.
DPI’s TITAN Reference 1080p-3D, the only proven, fully supported and actively shipping 3-chip active-3D projector for home cinemas, was featured in numerous award-winning theaters, including the 2010 Best Large Home Theater winner. Future Home, in conjunction with TK Theaters and Westpoint Development, was tasked with designing a home with the most high-performance technology solutions the CE industry has to offer. Murray Kunis, 25-year AV industry veteran and Future Home’s principal, chose the TITAN Reference 1080p-3D specifically for its reliability and industry-leading performance. Both homes in the running for Best Large Home Theater utilized DPI’s TITAN projectors.
Winner of the 2009 CEDIA “Best New Product” award, the TITAN Reference 1080p-3D was concurrently featured in CEDIA’s Future Tech Pavilion, major show exhibitor booths, and within the DPI booth on a massive 16’ Stewart Cinecurve screen. With over three years of experience manufacturing, distributing and supporting high-brightness 3D projectors, DPI’s 3D product line continues to dominate large-screen 3D projection for the home.
A first for CEDIA Expo, the Audience Choice Awards allowed CE enthusiasts to elect their favorite projects in categories such as Large Home Theater, Integrated Home and Media Room. DPI dealers HomeTronics and DSI Entertainment Systems, Inc. received all three awards within the Audience Choice Awards for 2010. Congratulations to the many DPI dealers that received bronze, silver or gold recognition at this year’s CEDIA Awards banquet.
