Power/Mation Announces Jim Gottschalk as New President and CEO

Saint Paul, MN, October 16, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Power/mation, www.powermation.com, an automation solutions distributor since 1961, is pleased to announce Jim Gottschalk as the new President and CEO, effective October 18, 2010. Mr. Gottschalk has outstanding leadership qualities that will help Power/mation grow, and provide innovative automation solutions with exceptional customer service.

Mr. Gottschalk comes to Power/mation equipped with more than 21 years of executive management experience in automation, distribution and manufacturing technology specializing in sales and marketing, operations, strategic planning, and business development.

Before coming to Power/mation, Mr. Gottschalk was Vice President in charge of the Sales, Engineering and Manufacturing Divisions at HESCO, an electrical automation distributor in Hartford, Ct. Prior to that he served 17 years in management at McNaughton-McKay Electric Company, Ford Motor Company and Rockwell Automation.

Mr. Gottschalk earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Kettering University in 1987.
