Clinical Trials of America’s CEO & Chief Medical Officer Presents at MAGI’s Clinical Research Conference – 2010 West

Dr. Richard Beyerlein explains how to be a clinical researcher’s “sponsor of choice.”

Eugene, OR, October 16, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Dr. Richard Beyerlein, Founder, CEO and Chief Medical Officer of Clinical Trials of America, will speak at the Model Agreements and Guidelines International’s (MAGI) Clinical Research Conference – 2010 West from 3:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 25 at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco.

Beyerlein will discuss the relationship between a sponsor and a clinical trials business during a presentation titled “What Sites Want from Sponsors: How to Become a ‘Sponsor of Choice.’” The program will explore some of the ways sponsors can help simplify the complexities of operating a full-service clinical trials business, including the alignment of incentives and clear communication.

Beyerlein is an experienced clinical researcher, as well as a board-certified specialist in obstetrics and gynecology and a certified principal investigator at Pacific Women’s Center in Eugene, Ore. He is a member of the Association for Clinical Research Professionals and a clinical assistant professor at Oregon Health & Science University. Beyerlein has been honored with an America’s Top Obstetricians and Gynecologists award and a Consumer Research Council of America award, and his work has been published in the Journal of American Medical Association, American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Journal of Obstetrics.

The MAGI Clinical Research Conference – 2010 West is scheduled for Oct. 24 through Oct. 27 and features 92 clinical trial program sessions and workshops, including elements of sponsor and site operations and program ethics, contracts, budgets and billing.
