BBDNY.com, Only One Year Old, Launches Virginia Phillips Baby New York a Baby Apparel Label

New York, NY, January 15, 2007 --(PR.com)-- BBDNY.COM is New York City’s Premier Baby Gift Resource. Opened in August 2006 as a luxury, personalized, baby gift store, it has completed a new high end ecommerce site in October and will now launch an entirely new Baby Apparel and Bedding Label this Spring. Virginia Phillips Baby New York is a luxury baby apparel and bedding label whose items are unusually reasonably priced. The idea being, every baby deserves to live luxuriously.

BBDNY was opened by a young mother, Jodi Kronman-Solarz, after seeing a gap in the market place for fresh baby gift ideas and affordable luxury bedding. BBDNY has the best prices in the luxury goods market because they manufacture everything exclusively and then primarily sell direct to the consumer. Most of their goods sell far below retail because of this. The reason is Jodi found luxury baby bedding unnecessarily costly and with her background working with production at Donna Karen New York, and training at Parsons School of Design, she knew luxury was obtainable by your average consumer if produced and sold right. 

Originally opened in August 2005 as a Baby Burp Cloth Boutique called BabyBurper.com, Jodi expanded to baby blankets, bibs, baskets and other accessories to meet demand. Jodi, a fine artist with a fashion background, has two kids under 5 in New York City and is at the pulse of the trendy baby market.

What’s next for BBDNY is Mommy gear and furniture using the same luxury for less model and a team of sales people selling to the consumer around the country.
