RS TechMedic Releases Dyna-Vision Event Dashboard for Remote Monitoring of Cardiac Events Transmitted by Heart Monitors Used by Patients
Dyna-Vision™ Monitoring units, used by patients to measure their vital signs, automatically detect abnormal readings of the heart rate and pulse-oxymeter values. These abnormal readings are transmitted to a remote server by cellular connection which is build into the Dyna-Vision™ Monitoring unit. Physicians can now use the Dyna-Vision™ Event DashBoard to receive the events of their patients directly on their desktop and assess the abnormal readings immediately.
Broek op Langedijk, Netherlands, October 17, 2010 --(PR.com)-- RS TechMedic B.V., a Dutch based company today announced the release of their Dyna-Vision™ Event DashBoard. This software is used to receive heart rhythm and pulse-oxymeter changes of remote patients that are connected to a Dyna-Vision™ Monitoring unit as they occur.
The events are colour coded and are divided into notifications, alerts and alarms. In case the received events need further diagnostic monitoring, physicians can start real-time monitoring of the patient’s vital signs and ECG waveforms with a single mouse click.
The beauty of the solution is that the system is very easy-to-use and needs no patient operation. Dyna-Vision™ offers a significant increase of patient comfort, fast recognition of cardiac and respiratory problems and this reduces hospitalisation cost. Especially for patients who underwent a surgical procedure, Dyna-Vision™ results in increased safety by early detection of post-operative complications, both in the hospital and after discharge. As patient safety is of utmost importance, many physicians use Dyna-Vision™ to detect complications even before they occur.
Dyna-Vision™ is a small light weight and portable device, with the size of a PDA. The patient carries the unit on a belt. This reliable and sophisticated medical device monitors up-to 12 clinical parameters through non-invasive sensors attached to the skin. The measurements include a number of parameters such as the 12-lead Electrocardiogram (ECG), Heart Rate, Pulse-oxymetry and Plethysmography.
There is no geographical limit for the technology. All country networks are supported. Dyna-Vision™ uses patented algorithms to transfer the parameters through the smallest possible bandwidths.
R.A. Brest van Kempen, CEO of RS TechMedic B.V. says: “With this unique solution it is finally possible to offer true telemedicine services to a patient. The current markets are ambulances, hospitals who want to shorten hospital stay, nursing homes and cardiology practices. We believe that our technology assists physicians in providing the best possible care in ambulant monitoring and home-care situations. For hospitals that do not have the resources to monitor their patients, our company offers all-inclusive services including a telemedicine centre that monitors the patients. In case parameters require further medical attention, the hospital staff is contacted on a 24/7 365 day per year basis. The cost for the all-inclusive service is only a fraction of the cost savings the hospitals experience due to reduced number of complications.”
Dyna-Vision™ is now available in Europe, Middle East, Asia, Africa, Australia and the USA.
RS TechMedic B.V. wants to contribute to the ongoing improvement of patient care by making this remote patient monitoring available. The company aims at the international market leadership for this type of equipment within the next 2 years. The company website is Dyna-Vision.com.
