EON Systems Releases New Oriental Medicine S.O.A.P Note
Clearwater, FL, October 17, 2010 --(PR.com)-- EON Systems, Inc. proudly announced their new Oriental Medicine S.O.A.P Note for Documentor™. Its public début was at the Florida State Oriental Medicine Association (FSOMA) event held in Tampa, FL in August of this year.
The new note has many benefits that make it user friendly and time saving. The OM SOAP Note offers tremendous flexibility to the practitioner. For example, when the patient is describing a pain, it is easy to capture it, in full detail, in the SOAP Note. To pinpoint the location of a pain, you can state the pain in terms of a muscle, a joint, or a body area. In the case of a body area, the Body Areas button can be selected, which displays a graphic of the body. A click on the affected area and you’re done. The patient says there’s also pain in a joint? No problem; with just one click you can select the involved joint from a list.
Another helpful benefit is the recording and reporting of the Ranges of Motion, it takes little effort. The OM SOAP Note smoothly guides you through measuring and reporting range of motion. If you administered acupuncture, for example, and you wanted to capture that treatment, the OM SOAP Note gives you the points along the various Acupuncture Meridians—in a graphic form. A click on a point selects it and reports it in the Note. If you prefer to not use a graphic presentation, you have the choice of selecting points from a (normal) list. All meridians are represented—in list and graphic form.
