Management Skills Training is Now Available Free on ManagersPitStop.com
Expert management skills training utilsed by HR managers, consultants and managers from businesses of all sizes is now available for free in easy to use 'bitsized' tutorials on ManagersPitStop.com website.
London, United Kingdom, October 20, 2010 --(PR.com)-- How do you make money in a recession? The answer for one businessman is to give his products and services away for nothing. In these difficult, recession biting times, getting something for nothing is somewhat rare.
ManagersPitStop.com is the brainchild of Neil Annis, a well-known figure in the management development and employer engagement field for the past twenty years.
Together with former colleague, Linda Campbell, he originally set up People & Business in Mind Ltd, a management training and coaching consultancy that developed a five day training course called How do I manage? Attended by hundreds of decision-makers from businesses of all sizes and all sectors, the training covered essentials such as performance, change and handling absenteeism. This, along with their psychology based coaching programmes cost up to £2500 per delegate.
Having trained managers in literally hundreds of organisations Neil is well aware how essential good people management skills are for businesses to compete effectively in today’s markets. He therefore set out to create an online facility offering the entire course plus additional material in 41 web based tutorials with over 65 templates and exercises. Initially available at a cost of £200 per person this was accessed by managers, leaders, human resources, consultants, trainers, coaches and advisers.
Neil says, “I was getting enquires from across the UK as well as from countries as diverse as India, France, Nigeria, Slovenia and Somalia. For most people in Western countries £200 is cost effective but for small business in countries like India and the Philippines it is virtually prohibitive. The last straw was Wonda. She was desperate to have this training but living in Zimbabwe, with the huge inflation issues, it wasn’t going to be possible. Therefore I decided that giving ManagersPitStop.com away to people no matter who they are or where they are based would be the right thing to do. Especially now everyone faces the austerity measures which are being enforced to reduce national debt.”
Neil has partnered with an organisation called Inspiring Business Performance (IBP), experts in the prestigious Investors in People quality standard for business, who have provided support in making it possible to bring his vision to life and provide this service to the masses. However, as IBP’s core focus is to support business across London and South East England Neil intends to seek additional partners around the rest of the UK and indeed around the world.
Now available completely free to people everywhere ManagersPitStop.com offers essential training on people management covering anything from developing your workforce’s potential, delegation, effective communication and resolving conflict. At a time when companies budgets are being squeezed, government training schemes are being dismantled and every employee must prove their worth to keep their job a huge need exists for such a service.
Users of ManagersPitStop.com have described the free training as "excellent," "outstanding" and "brilliant." It seems you really can get something for nothing in a recession.
