Eteach Turns Teacher Recruitment on Its Head

Camberley, United Kingdom, October 20, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Education recruitment is changing, budgets are shrinking and schools are faced with spending less money than ever before. This means that working with schools to reduce their costs has never been more important.

In response to this, Eteach is about to become the first in the sector to launch targeted Regional and School Talent Pools which are going to be available to school staff and Eteach member schools at no cost.

Thousands of schools are about to open Talent Pools to candidates. This means that rather than spending valuable time and money on advertising, schools can save money and jobs by using the selection of candidates they will already have listed in their Talent Pools.

Traditionally schools spend large sums of money on advertising to create a viable candidate shortlist, eventually appointing one person whilst rejecting the rest of the candidates. Neighbouring schools often repeat the process, sometimes advertising the same roles over and over again.

The logical step to solve this problem is to create localised Talent Pools which are constantly attracting staff that school recruiters can access when they need to. Eteach has been working with several schools and school groups as well as Local Authorities to develop these systems.

Also, Jobseekers can be more pro-active and support the campaign by joining Eteach Talent Pools and submit their interest to their chosen schools within their selected regions at any time.

The Eteach Software can also help schools to become more pro-active recruiters. This will create a bigger online presence which will attract candidates to their Talent Pools 52 weeks of the year. This gives jobseekers and schools greater exposure at little or no cost to themselves.

“For years now, Eteach has been an advocate of pure online recruitment, talent pools are a natural extension of the online process which, in my opinion, should save schools at least 50% of their recruitment costs,” says Paul Howells, founder of Eteach.com.
