Award Winning Sleight of Hand Artist Offers Opportunities to Celebrate National Magic Month in Central Illinois
Peoria, IL, October 20, 2010 --(PR.com)-- For those in the central Illinois area, International award winning sleight of hand artist, Mitch Williams, is keeping the art of magic alive during National Magic Month in October. He will be offering several live performances this month.
"A big part of my work is in promoting magic as an actual art form," says Williams, "For me, it's not just about the tricks and secrets; it's more about how it moves and affects people. And of course National Magic Month is a great opportunity to share the experience of mystery and enjoyment that is magic!"
Williams has conducted workshops for groups of magicians throughout the United States on how to approach magic as an actual art form, and he is recognized by his peers in magic as an expert at sleight of hand, and one of the best at his particular style of magic. He has professional performing credits all across the USA, Canada, in Europe, and in Japan, for venues as diverse as theatres, cruise ships, television, and corporate events, and he has appeared on the same shows with such notable celebrities as: Doug Henning, Penn & Teller, Lance Burton, Rosie O'Donnell, Dennis Miller, and Jeff Dunham.
