Limo-Scene & Wedding Cars Helps to Fulfil Manchester United Supporter's Lifelong Dream
Arby, who has liver disease, wanted to meet Manchester United players. His wish was granted - thanks to children’s charity Rays of Sunshine, and Manchester-based limos and wedding cars company Limo-Scene.
Manchester, United Kingdom, October 21, 2010 --(PR.com)-- After years of suffering from a life-threatening disease, it was 13-year-old Arby’s fantasy to spend the day with his favourite football team.
Arbaaz, or Arby as he is better known, was diagnosed with liver disease when he was just six weeks old.
He has undergone several operations including two liver transplants. But despite this, Arby is a sociable, active boy, who rarely lets his illness get him down.
Arby loves football. But sadly, his illness prevents him from playing frequently. He is a passionate fan of Manchester United - and his dream has always been to spend some time at the club.
So, on 22 September, Arby’s wish was granted - thanks to children’s charity Rays of Sunshine, and Manchester-based limos and wedding cars company Limo-Scene.
Arby, together with his mum Shabna, sister Summaya and step father Carl travelled from their home in Birmingham to The Hilton Hotel in Deansgate Manchester.
After breakfast the following morning the family were surprised with a Limo-Scene Black Chrysler limousine waiting outside the hotel to take Arby to Trafford training Centre in Carrington.
They were escorted to the training pitches and watched the first team prepare for their next big game.
After taking dozens of pictures of Arby with the players, the limousine collected the family to take them to the Old Trafford Stadium where they were taken on a tour and visited to the Manchester United Museum.
Arby bought a new kit from the Manchester United Megastore and was taken to dinner at Nandos.
Finally the family was taken back to the hotel to pick up their luggage before setting off on their journey home.
Arby’s mum said : “The wish was amazing and surpassed all of our expectations. Everything ran perfectly smoothly and it was a great break for us all. Arby loved the day and became totally star struck when he met the players.”
