Site First to Offer Gifts for Most Popular Advice for Women 45+
This month, SavvyHer, the first online social network was launched that rewards people with gift for tips for women 45+. Each month ten people receive over $1,000 in gifts when their tips are voted among the ten most popular by other members of this no-cost online community.
San Francisco, CA, January 16, 2007 --(PR.com)-- SavvyHer is the first online social network where women 45+ in their prime of living and spending can share and vote on their favorite tips for making their lives easier and more joyful. Anyone can submit tips.
Each month SavvyHer members can vote on the tips contributed that month to discover the Ten Most Popular.
In sharing tips, members can draw attention to their expertise, business, book, cause, hobby or other special interest and related web site(s). They can also submit tips they learned from someone else, and cite that person as the source.
Plus those who shared winning tips will be featured in the annual book, "Savvy Tips for Savvy Women: The Best of SavvyHer, 2007."
Membership is no-cost, quick and easy. It includes a directory of tips and members and a monthly one-question poll. The first poll question is generating lively conversation: “Who is better at giving tips, women or men?”
Gifts include a group-created online photo scrapbook and leather-bound book from SnapJot; a gift certificate for comfy clothing from Oprah favorite, Karen Neuberger; and an upscale, bidet-style toilet seat by Brondell Swash, backed by billionaire investor, March Cuban.
As the SavvyHer membership grows gifts will grow ever more extravagant.
People can also subscribe to the weekly eNewsletter.
SavvyHer already has tips from celebrities (from Jamie Lee Curtis to Kathleen Turner), best-selling authors (from Dr. Miriam Nelson, author of Strong Women Stay Young to Adrianna Huffington, author of Fearless) and from everyday experts.
Co-founders, Jean Schore and Kare Anderson are self-funding the network. Schore is a marketing professional and civic leader. Anderson is an Emmy-winning former NBC and Wall Street Journal reporter and author of SmartPartnering.
