Watch and Jewelry Auction to Benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society
New York, NY, October 20, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is thrilled to announce that they will be hosting an upcoming watch and jewelry auction to be held on October 20th by Antiquorum Auctioneers, the world’s premier watch auctioneer. This first of a planned annual event will offer watch enthusiasts the unique opportunity to bid on magnificent timepieces while supporting the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in their movement towards a world free of multiple sclerosis (MS).
The Mission: MS Auction will take place on October 20th at Antiquorum in New York City at 7 pm with a preview prior to the sale from 5 pm – 7pm .
The auction is open to the public and will take place on October 20th at Antiquorum Auctioneers, the world’s premier watch auctioneer, located at Madison Avenue in New York City. Registration for bidding and online auction catalogue is now available on Antiquorum’s website, www.antiquorum.com. Antiquorum will be conducting the charity auction as well as donating their auction space for the Mission: MS event that evening. Starting at 5:00 PM Antiquorum will open its auction house doors to bidders to come in to view these magnificent timepieces. The live auction will begin at 7:00 PM with real-time bidding on the Antiquorum website for those who are not able to travel to New York for the auction. Proceeds from the auction will go to support cutting-edge research conducted by the National MS Society as well as fund critical programs.
Valued at more than $500,000, over 40 watches brands have donated extraordinary timepieces to the auction to support Mission:MS including Cartier, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Franck Muller, Chopard, Breitling, Roger Dubuis, Audemars Piguet, Vacheron Constantin, Zenith, Richard Mille, Hublot, Ulysse Nardin, A. Lange & Sohne, Ulysse Nardin and Baume & Mercier.
