How Romance Blues Helps Broken Hearts Survive a Break Up

Break up recovery includes being able to share your story without being ridiculed which is one of the major reasons social networking site Romance Blues was recently launched. It's designed to either help speed up the recovery phase or offer sensible advice in winning back a former partner.

Panama City Beach, FL, October 22, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Romance Blues CEO JD Dean says interaction is vital for people going through the pain and hurt of a break up and while he acknowledges some alone time is needed, there needs to be a time when being around other people must happen.

Romance Blues is a social networking site for broken hearts which recently launched and has attracted good interest from those going through the recovery phase of a break up. While Mr. Dean says it's designed to help people interact with others going through the same experience, it's also set up to help those who want back into their relationships.

"Being able to share your break up story without feeling like people are talking behind your back is crucial. Just think back to when you had a major break up and were the one on the receiving end," Mr. Dean said.

"You probably acted in an ugly manner which would have got around to the people you know and while they would have cared about your well being, feeling like you were the brunt of gossip meant feelings of being avoided by the people closest to you."

Romance Blues is still in it's formative stage and Mr. Dean says it's a project that came about following the numerous comments being left on his relationship sites.

Mr. Dean said, "There seemed to be a pattern forming with the bulk of comments coming from people wanting to know if they had a chance to win back their partners.

"But the interesting thing was, people were willing to share the circumstances leading up to and after the break up, even citing minor details. Many times, comments comprised well over one thousand words.

"It was almost as if they just wanted an ear to listen to them and responses usually came in the form of encouragement to push through this difficult time. That's when I thought, what if people in a break up situation could share their story in a more private setting and to others feeling their pain."

Romance Blues is free to join offering people the chance to create a profile but it's the forum area Mr. Dean says he would like to see active.

"While we have free reports and news items available and all the things that go with a social network site, it's posting in the forum which is important. Even if you share your story just once and never post again it will go a long way to releasing bottled up emotion and it's better to do it in a safe and controlled environment."
