AAAASF Elects Harlan Pollock, M.D. as New Board President

Dallas, TX, October 20, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The American Association for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, Inc. (AAAASF) announces that Harlan Pollock, M.D., has been elected AAAASF’s new board president. He assumes the post after serving as vice president for the board of directors and performing many roles and chairing many committees such as the strategic planning committee and standards committee. These important committees are essential for the advancement and refinement of the core business of surgery center accreditation and the “gold standard” that define our commitment to patient safety.

Dr. Pollock has been practicing plastic surgery for more than forty years and performs a variety of surgical procedures at North Dallas Plastic Surgery, which has been fully accredited by the AAAASF for over twenty five years.
