Cincy Chic Hosts Seasonably Chic Showcase for a Good Cause
Cincinnati women’s publication combines efforts to raise funds and awareness for the Freestore Foodbank.
Cincinnati, OH, October 23, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Cincy Chic (www.cincychic.com), along with 35 booth sponsors at the Seasonably Chic Showcase will come together to raise funds and awareness for the Freestore Foodbank. This chic event occurs on November 6th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. downtown at the Phoenix.
“The showcase is a one stop shop for all of your holiday shopping for women, men, children, and your pets,” said Cincy Chic publisher Amy Storer-Scalia.
Attendees are requested to bring an admission ‘fee’ of one canned good or a nonperishable food item to benefit the Freestore Foodbank. The first 100 attendees will receive one fabulous ‘swag bag’ that is valued at $300.
During the showcase, there will be two fashion shows at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., group brunch ‘n’ learns and Frisch’s will host several pie tastings. Attendees who purchase items at the showcase will also receive complimentary gift wrapping.
“We are so pleased that the Seasonably Chic Showcase will benefit the Freestore Foodbank this year,” said Freestore Foodbank president and CEO John Young. “Donations made by the shoppers will help us deliver our mission of connecting those in the community with food and hope throughout this holiday season.”
