The Double Rainbow Ranch Rolls Out the Red Carpet for Simrit Kaur

Los Angeles, CA, October 22, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Greek-born Kirtan musician Simrit Kaur will unleash her soulful, transformative vocals during a concert at The Double Rainbow Ranch 6541 N 63rd St. Niwot, CO on October 23, 2010. Concert tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the door.

From 8pm - 10pm local residents are invited to experience a mind-expansive show featuring a diverse set list ranging from quietly meditative sets to ecstatic chanting to all out dancing.

“Simrit’s musical range, rhythmic arrangements and melodies are hypnotic—the sheer power of her voice will move you,” said Thi Hoang, Kundalini yoga teacher. “She is the soulful mixture of delicate vocals of Norah Jones, haunting melodies of Jeff Buckley, and deep longing for the soul of Dead Can Dance's Lisa Gerrard.”

Embarking on her debut US tour promoting her album The Sweetest Nectar, Simrit’s music and compositions are gaining world recognition for the uniquely fresh arrangements combined with a contagious uplifting energy and ancient sacred appeal.

Simrit studied both Western and Eastern classical vocals. She is an accomplished percussionist and is trained in piano. Simrit is a devoted student, practitioner and teacher of Naad Yoga, the sacred science of sound and consciousness.
