Breitling Oil and Gas Announces Completion Operations Underway in Garfield County, OK on the Potter Church

Irving, TX, October 22, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Breitling Oil and Gas today announced that the Breitling-Potter Church prospect in Garfield County, Oklahoma, is being completed as a possible oil and gas producer after reaching a total vertical depth of 5,980 feet.

From log analysis, the well encountered several potentially productive zones over a gross interval in the Mississippian Limestone formation from 5418 to 5802 feet; the Lower Layton Sand found from 4674 to 4712 feet; a Perry Gas zone from 4112 to 4120 feet; and the Carmichael Sand found from 3278 to 3288 feet. Testing and completion plans were finalized October 20 and a completion rig and crew will move into location the week of October 25.

Chris Faulkner, CEO of Breitling Oil and Gas, said, "The Potter Church came in high on structure with good traps and it looks like it’s going to be a good producer for Breitling and our investors." Faulkner added, "We have a large acreage position in Garfield County and now with additional control we feel confident Breitling will be working the area for the foreseeable future."

Breitling ran a density-neutron log, microlog and an induction log and decided to run pipe based in analysis by Breitling's engineers and geological team. Joe Simo, Chief Geologist for Breitling Oil and Gas, said, "The total yield from the Potter Church could be as high as 145,000 BO and 4.5 BCFG of gas.” Simo added, “The anticipated subsurface structure was approximately 10’ higher than expected and the well’s unique structural position could allow for the projected production figures."
