The Rock and Roll Emporium will play host to two major activities at this year's Halloween Fest 2010 in Downtown Huntington Beach. Customers will have an opportunity to have a free photo taken by local professional photographer Harmony Gerber whose acclaimed concert photography can be seen on display in the shop. Additionally, professional Hollywood SFX makeup artist Cat Elrod will be back to transform customers into their greatest horrors all weekend long.
Huntington Beach, CA, October 23, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Rock and Roll Emporium (The RARE), an eclectic Rock boutique, presents Cat Elrod, Hollywood Special FX Make-up Artist Halloween Makeovers at The Rock and Roll Emporium, 205 Main Street in Huntington Beach. Cat will create custom Special FX Halloween makeup including characters like, KISS, Zombie, Edward Scissor hands; Avatar, The Joker, Sexy Witch, Devil or Vampire; cuts, bruises, gashes, or even prosthetics. Cat will be taking appointments for makeovers Friday October 29th after 1pm, Saturday starting at 11am and Sunday from 11am until 8pm. Appointments are strongly recommended, but walk-ins are welcome. Cat Elrod is a graduate of Joe Blasco Hollywood and has superior skills in make up and costume design including. Her eight plus years of experience includes work on numerous stage and screen productions including Tropic Thunder, The Wiz, and Disney Productions.
Harmony Gerber is a photographer who specializes in music & celebrity documentation. Her career spans from 1999 to the present. Constantly working in the music industry for record labels, publications, clubs, websites, agencies & instrument manufacturers, she is best known for her journalistic approach to the world of rock & roll.
