Delicious Fun at Chocolate Festival Thanksgiving Weekend - Fifth Annual Event at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino on Nov. 26 & 27
Dover Downs Hotel & Casino’s annual Chocolate Festival will be held in the Rollins Center this year on Friday, Nov. 26 and Saturday, Nov. 27, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days.
Dover, DE, November 02, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Dover Downs Hotel & Casino’s annual Chocolate Festival will be held in the Rollins Center this year on Friday, Nov. 26 and Saturday, Nov. 27, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days.
The festival will feature a large variety of chocolate and candy exhibitors, ice carving contest, gingerbread village, plentiful holiday gift selections, yummy food to purchase, and holiday cooking tips. Live entertainment includes holiday instrumentals, choral performances, and dance performances by Delaware Ballet Company. “Santa” will appear for photos with the kids.
This year’s new chocolaty feature is a 10’ tree made of Oreo Sandwich Cookies, constructed by Kraft Foods. The tree will take two days to assemble in the hotel lobby. Each graduated tier will be covered in chocolate and Oreos then festooned with chocolate ornaments and other decorative elements.
The Delaware Hospice Festival of Trees will again be held in conjunction with the Chocolate Festival and is open to the public. Festival of Trees admission is free, and hours are as follows:
Nov. 22, 23, 24 & 27: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Nov. 26: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Nov. 28: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
