Tale of Bright Young Girl with a Secret Shame, Unresolved Issues, Published by Outskirts Press

Chicago, IL, October 26, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Outskirts Press, Inc. has published Unresolved Issues: Revelation and Knowledge by Patrick L. Brooks. The author's most recent book to date is a 6 x 9 paperback in the family and relationships, abuse and child abuse category and is available worldwide on book retailer websites such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble. The webpage at www.outskirtspress.com/unresolvedissues was launched simultaneously with the book's publication.

This is the story of Tanya, a bright young girl with a loving family and a secret shame.

As she grows up, keeping this secret will dramatically alter Tanya’s relationships -- with her family, with her husband -- and have potentially devastating effects on her son. It will take courage, honesty, and faith for this family to resolve the issues that shape their lives.

“How we handle adversity determines who we are and what we believe. If you know like I know, this is another opportunity for God to arise and demonstrate his powers. Trust him and give it to him,” states the author.

Tanya and her family will learn that they can either fall victim to their circumstances or respond with a determined, overcoming spirit.

“We all have a cross to bear,” says author Brooks, “but our issues do not determine our fate or forfeit our purpose. Meeting our challenges head-on and finding ways to conquer them is the road to a healthy spirit. If you allow your challenges to overcome you, be prepared for a downward spiral and a life filled with Unresolved Issues.”

393 pages in length, Unresolved Issues: Revelation and Knowledge is being aggressively promoted to appropriate markets with a focus on the family and relationships, abuse and child abuse category. With U.S. wholesale distribution through Ingram and Baker & Taylor, and pervasive online availability through Amazon, Barnes & Noble and elsewhere, Unresolved Issues meets consumer demand through both retail and library markets with a suggested retail price of $18.95.

Additionally, Unresolved Issues can be ordered by retailers or wholesalers for the maximum trade discount price set by the author in quantities of ten or more from the Outskirts Press Direct bookstore at www.outskirtspress.com/bookstore.
