Crain's Recognizes Lawline.com as One of the Best Places to Work in New York City

Lawline.com has been named “One of Crain’s 2010 Best Places to Work in New York City” by Crain’s New York Business. Lawline.com has tripled in size over the past year and more than doubled its revenue, despite the simultaneous rise in the national unemployment rate.

New York, NY, October 27, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Crain’s New York Business recently named Lawline.com as “One of Crain’s 2010 Best Places to Work in New York City.” This is not the first such recognition for Lawline.com, a leading provider of online continuing legal education. Last spring, the company was also honored as one of the 40 Best Companies to Work for in New York by the New York State Society for Human Resource Management and Best Companies Group.

Lawline.com has tripled in size over the past year and more than doubled its revenue, despite the simultaneous rise in the national unemployment rate. The key to this success, says Lawline.com CEO, David Schnurman, is in how the company treats its employees.

“Employees treat customers in the same manner that they are treated,” says Lawline.com says Schnurman. “The center of our business is an intimate culture, where respect for others and freedom of creativity are held as core values. Our employees then apply those values to our customers.”

This concept has proven effective and has led to Crain's recognition of Lawline.com's exceptional work environment. Much of the company's business is centered around its customer loyalty and word of mouth. At the same time, its employment has been much the same: centered around what some may consider fanatical loyalty from its employees.

Lawline.com has created a mechanism of continuous growth through freedom of creative thought and an environment of respect, resulting in a place where intelligent and creative employees flourish.

Established in 1999, Lawline.com has rapidly become a leading provider of Online Continuing Legal Education courses for attorneys across the country. Focusing on its customers, technology, and content has always been its primary mission. In 2009, Lawline.com was nominated as a finalist for Best Practices in Customer Service by the New York Enterprise Report. In addition to producing its own high quality programming, Lawline.com has partnered with bar associations, law schools, and CLE providers across the country to bring the best possible course catalog to its diverse customer base of attorneys.
