Bricett Offers High Performance Servo Quartz Accelerometers
BRICETT – manufacturer and provider of inertial sensors announces the availability of servo quartz accelerometers having an excellent performance for navigation, guidance, control, and measurement applications.
Istanbul, Turkey, October 29, 2010 --(PR.com)-- BRICETT announces the availability of high performance navigation grade accelerometers which utilize servo-technology with quartz mechanism. As servo accelerometers are closed-loop, they ensure significant performance advantages over open-loop accelerometers such as piezoresistive, piezoelectric and some other types. These advantages are reduced cross-axis sensitivity, good scale-factor stability, wide dynamic range, and linearity. That is why servo accelerometers are used for the most part in inertial navigation and guidance systems such as INS - Inertial Navigation Systems, IMU - Inertial Measurement Units, AHRS - Attitude Heading Reference Systems, IRU - Inertial Reference Units, IGS - Inertial Guidance Systems, etc.
BRICETT offers two grades of servo accelerometers: navigation grade and tactical grade. INN-202 accelerometer is designed for navigation tasks. It has Bias 1-year repeatability parameter of ≤80μg, and Input range of ±50g. Also, it provides better temperature sensitivity and non-linearity as well as higher resolution. INN-203 accelerometer is intended for tactical operations, and for control and measurement applications, while it has the Bias 1-year repeatability parameter of ≤200μg. Both grades of accelerometers are temperature modeled regarding the Bias, Scale Factor, and Misalignment parameters.
BRICETT INN-202 and INN-203 accelerometers can be used for inertial and instrumentation systems for aircrafts, manned and unmanned vehicles and objects. They also are applicable for gyrocompassing systems for naval vessels, ships, submarines, ROV, AUV, as well as guidance systems for strategic and tactical missiles.
Along with outstanding performance of the sensors BRICETT offers very fast and hassle-free purchasing process due to the fact that they do not require export licenses from customers, and so the delivery term is relatively short.
For system integrators such as research and development companies and institutions, universities and laboratories, BRICETT offers complete technical support and collaboration in design and development of inertial systems based on BRICETT sensors.
