HighPoint Solutions VP David Gwyn to Speak at Electronic Document Management 2011

In his session, Gwyn will debunk the belief that compliance cannot be embedded into SharePoint because end-users can make constant changes without involving IT. Gwyn’s presentation will explain how to establish repeatable, secure processes within the SharePoint platform and develop controls and safeguards to define and manage content storage and retrieval. The session will highlight these steps in non-technical terms to show SharePoint’s capabilities in life sciences.

A SharePoint Subject Matter Expert, Gwyn recently published a white paper, “Five Steps to Embed Compliance in SharePoint,” in KMWorld Magazine. In addition he will be speaking on the same topic in November at both NextDocs and Microsoft conferences. He spoke earlier in the year at Share FEST 2010.

Gwyn has more than 20 years of experience in the Life Sciences industry. A seasoned executive he is responsible for solution vision and strategy for HighPoint. Gwyn has an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix and a B.S. in Computer Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Not only is he a member of the DIA, he is also a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), and the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA).
