Grammy Award Winning Artist, Marty Raybon Joins the Double E Roster

Nashville, TN, November 04, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Perry Edge, President of Double E Promotions is proud to announce the addition of former Shenandoah member, Marty Raybon to the Double E roster. Double E Promotion's provides radio promotion and booking services for Marty.

Founder and former lead singer of the Grammy award-winning hit group Shenandoah, Marty Raybon offers a full spectrum of vocal entertainment. His talents are unmatched, whether he's singing country, gospel or his personal favorite, bluegrass. He has become one of country music's busiest artists, performing over 100 shows per year between the United States and Canada.

His latest and most exciting venture is the release of Daddy Phone, a heartfelt tribute to fathers separated from their children by divorce. Raybon has packaged his songwriting genius in AT HIS BEST, his debut album with current label GrandVista Music, scheduled for Spring 2010 release.

Everyone who hears Raybon knows he has a voice to be reckoned with. Dating back to his early days in his home state of Florida he sang in his family's bluegrass band. Like so many other bluegrass artists, the grind of part-time playing and full-time work eventually got old and in 1984 Raybon headed for Nashville. By the following year he'd scored a publishing deal and moved to Muscle Shoals, Alabama, founding the group that would eventually become Shenandoah.

Raybon led Shenandoah to 22 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, including thirteen number one singles, such as: The Church on Cumberland Road (1989), Sunday in the South (1989), Two Dozen Roses (1989), Next to You, Next to Me (1990), If Bubba Can Dance (I Can Too) (1994) and Butterfly Kisses (1997).

Since then, he has enjoyed many years as an esteemed performer in Country, Southern Gospel and Bluegrass genres. He grew up in bluegrass and later earned acclaim in country music, so it should come as no surprise that the latest release from Marty Raybon and his band, Full Circle, bears the mark of both.

Double E Promotions, headquartered in Booneville, MS and ran by Perry and wife, Vikki Edge, have focused more on the Country Gospel genre over the last couple years, witnessing the fruits of their labor as many of their clients songs have charted on national Christian m­usic charts, most rece­­­ntly promoting Country Gospel Great, Sandra Dee’s single, “Keep The Faith” to number one on the Christian Voice, Christian Country Top 100 Chart for June of 2010 and former Statler Brother, Jimmy Fortune’s “Wrote it In Red” to number one on the Christian Voice, Christian Country Top 100 Chart for December of 09’. In June of 2010 Double E Promotions took home the King Country Agape Fest special award for "Recognition of Talent & Service to Radio & Media Through a Giving Heart".
