DMG Productions is Proud to Announce the Launch of Their New Television Series Boating & Beyond
Broadcast is scheduled to align with National Boating Safety Awareness Month this May and will run on a combination of national and international cable networks.
Palm Beach Gardens, FL, November 06, 2010 --(PR.com)-- This May, DMG and Boating & Beyond take their viewers on an entertaining and educational journey inside the boating and marine industry. This four part series will be presented commercial free and there will be many topics addressed covering a wide spectrum of areas. From custom crafted yachts to boating safety and scuba diving, Boating & Beyond will explore it all. Broadcast is scheduled to align with National Boating Safety Awareness Month this May and will run on a combination of national and international cable networks.
Ryan Dierdorff, senior producer for the series said, “The driving force behind this episode is not just to highlight the latest trends and technological advancements in the marine industry, but to also educate the television audience on boating safety.”
According to the Personal Flotation Device Manufacturers Association, nine out of 10 drownings occur in inland waters, most within a few feet of safety and involving boats less than 20 feet long. Most drowning victims had access to a Personal Flotation Device, but did not wear it.
Chad Densen, production manager for the program tells us, “In our preliminary research in development of this series, it was discovered that 70% of all boating fatality accidents result from drowning. Almost 90% of those who drown are not wearing a life jacket; this is absolutely horrifying and the worst part, it is completely avoidable.”
Other topics in the series will address: navigational technology, protecting our marine life/coral reefs, recreational boating & water sports and much more. Dates and show times TBA.
