DJ Nabs, Atlanta Music Industry Pioneer and DJ Activist Creates Exclusive Video Megamix for Atlanta's Fox 5 Television
Industry veteran DJ Nabs produces innovative new megamix commercial for Fox 5 Atlanta, airing now.
Atlanta, GA, November 12, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The mix features clips from popular Fox programs, including House, Glee, TMZ, and Hell's Kitchen. It also features snippets of Nabs upcoming bio-documentary, American DJ Story.
During a recent show appearance on Fox 5 Atlanta, Nabs mentioned that he mixes videos in addition to mixing music. His comment sparked an idea and led to the collaboration of the Fox Video Megamix. Nabs is excited about the video mix because it stretches the idea of what it means to be a DJ. "I loved being a part of this experience, creating video mixes with the turntables in the Fox control studio was like a dream," says Nabs. "A real DJ should not just be limited to a DJ booth in a club, but should use their creative gifts to take their expertise to the next level."
Mike Smith, Fox 5 Atlanta’s Marketing Coordinator adds, "I've known about DJ Nabs for years and experienced first hand the energy that he brings to a performance, so when it was time to do something innovative and exciting to promote our brand, it just made perfect sense to use Nabs."
Nabs, one of the pioneers in the Southern Hip Hop movement has consistently continued to develop his craft. From being the only DJ in Atlanta to ever perform with the King of Pop Michael Jackson, to producing his current American DJ Story biopic; he has made music lovers redefine their definition of "the DJ".
DJ Nabs is currently crisscrossing the globe performing DJ Nabs Presents: Michael Jackson Tribute Tour, while simultaneously promoting Diary of A Mad DJ, a prelude to Nabs’ bio-documentary, American DJ Story. The unique film gives viewers a behind the scenes look at DJ Nabs’ life and the role of the DJ in the changing music landscape.
