Fertility Physicians of Northern California Founder Dr. David Adamson Presents Endowment for ASRM Patient and Public Education Website
San Jose, CA, November 12, 2010 --(PR.com)-- ASRM has received an endowment to support its new patient and public education website – Reproductive Facts – from Dr. David Adamson, founder of Fertility Physicians of Northern California (FPNC).
On October 24, 2010, at the opening ceremony of the annual meeting of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) in Denver, CO, ASRM officials announced that Dr. David Adamson and his wife Rosemary Adamson, in part through Fertility Physicians of Northern California, have given an exclusive endowment to support in perpetuity the ASRM Patient and Public Education website, www.reproductivefacts.org.
Dr. and Rosemary Adamson and Fertility Physicians of Northern California recognize the many contributions of ASRM to reproductive medicine over 7 decades and are grateful for their relationship with ASRM. They chose to give this endowment due to the clear benefits it will provide to patients, the public, ASRM members and all reproductive medicine professionals.
“We have a longstanding commitment to patient education, especially with regards to reproductive health,” stated Dr. Adamson. “We are pleased to be able to support the ASRM’s commitment to education through this endowment.”
The gift to ASRM is made in part through Fertility Physicians of Northern California (FPNC), founded by Dr. Adamson in 1984, and furthers the educational goals of FPNC by supporting in perpetuity the electronic platform for ASRM’s patient and public education website.
