Canned Goods Save Holiday Travelers $25 Off Room Rates at The Woodlands Resort

Now through December 31, 2010, The Woodlands Resort is offering guests $25 off its published room rates in exchange for five canned food donations.

All canned goods collected will benefit the Montgomery County Food Bank, a private non-profit organization dedicated to collecting and distributing more than 5 million pounds of food to the area’s low-income children, adults and senior citizens.

While visiting The Woodlands, resort guests can take advantage of complimentary transportation to and from The Woodlands Town Center where a myriad of holiday events and activities take place starting November 20 including the opening of the southwest’s largest seasonal outdoor ice rink.
