Phuket, Thailand, November 17, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Le Méridien Phuket Beach Resort, an award-winning 470-room resort located on a secluded beach on Phuket’s southwestern coast, recently welcomed a group of Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (MICE) professionals from Malaysia and Singapore.
The executives, accompanied by Starwood Asia Pacific’s Senior Manager for Global Sales Chin Ming Chew and Sales Manager Linda Maksudi, were welcomed by Le Méridien Phuket Beach Resort General Manager, Mr. Rudolf Borgesius. The resort’s Director of Sales & Events, Irene Leong, Director of Rooms, Patrik Ilstam, Director of Food & Beverage Julian Lowry, and Executive Chef Philippe Gaudal were also present.
The delegates showed off their Thai-cooking skills in a fun mini cook-off organized by Le Méridien Phuket as one of its team-building activities. Dressed in specially made aprons and chefs hat, the group had their hands full preparing well-known Thai specialities including Som Tam (Green Papaya Salad) and Tom Yam Gung (Hot & Sour Shrimp Soup).
