Agora ID™ of Antheus Technology Appendix F Certified with Suprema Scanners

Boca Raton, FL, November 19, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Antheus Technology Inc., a global leading provider of biometric software solutions, announced today that the Agora ID solution, incorporating livescan devices from Suprema, received certifications from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for the agency’s Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS) Image Quality Specification (IQS) Appendix F standards.

Agora ID was certified with the Suprema RealScan10 in the categories of Live Scan Systems and Identification Flat Systems, and with combination RealScan10 and RealScanD in the category Live Scan Systems.

Agora ID uses fingerprints to accurately identify persons against a scalable database. Agora ID is a configurable software solution suitable for a range of projects sizes, from small standalone biometric visitor control systems to large-scale biometric identification programs deployed in many servers and hundreds of workstations. Based on the ANSI/NIST ITL-1 2007 standard for personal identification and using principles of flexible manufacturing systems the Agora ID solution treats each ANSI/NIST type of transaction (TOT) as if it were a product on a pallet in route to completion.
