TransNational Bankcard Named to Chicago Tribune's Top 100 Workplaces
TransNational Bankcard announced November 17, 2010 that it has been listed as one of the Top 100 Workplaces 2010 by the Chicago Tribune. TransNational was also named the #10 workplace for employers of less than 250 people.
Rolling Meadows, IL, November 18, 2010 --(PR.com)-- TransNational Bankcard announced November 17, 2010 that it has been listed as one of the Top 100 Workplaces 2010 by the Chicago Tribune. The winners of this award have been listed in a special pull-out section of the Chicago Tribune print and online. TransNational was also named the #10 workplace for employers of less than 250 people. TransNational was also the only merchant credit card processor named to the list, and joined Discover Financial Services as the only representatives of the Credit Card Industry.
The evaluation for the Top Workplaces program is based upon direct feedback from the employees of the companies in the survey themselves. The employees completed an independent survey coordinated through Workplace Dynamics. As a whole, companies were graded based off of various criteria including but not limited to communication, direction, execution, conditions, pay and benefits, etc. Over 1,360 Chicago-area companies were invited to participate in the survey. TransNational was given particularly high marks by its employees in the areas of: Organizational Direction, Company Execution, Career Opportunities, Confidence in Managers, and Workplace Conditions
John Pitzaferro, TransNational’s CEO shared the following: “We’ve always strived to be a workplace that takes care of our employees, enables them to succeed, and makes work fun. It is exciting seeing that those intentions are being actualized, but in the end we know that an award like this is clearly a result of TransNational having amazing employees.”
