Englewood, NJ, November 29, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Nicole Alt Photography donated framed artwork and captured candid photos of Englewood Library's NJ Fashion Show Fundraiser on November 20th, 2010. The event, held between 2-4pm, benefited the library's Free Programs aimed at their Children and Youth Dept(s). Ms. Alt was just one of Englewood Library's many sponsors.
Proceeds from guests and sponsors will benefit the library's Free Programs aimed at their Youth and Children's Department(s). No charge for attendees who stayed, but all donations were welcome.
Knowing that Englewood Library’s finances really got hurt by the state budget cuts, and that some of their free programs for children & youth were either suspended or cancelled during the past summer, is the reason why Ms. Alt felt compelled to help sponsor the Englewood Library's last minute fund-raising event.
The Englewood Library wished to show the community the importance of free programs for children and youth, which are without cost to both them, and to their families. To illustrate the significance of the library's efforts, "Just look at the successful results of one of our programs from this past Summer: 'Introduction to Modeling' was designed to promote self-esteem; good manners; build self-confidence; instill good posture; and provide a basic introduction to walking a runway or catwalk. Englewood Library's program made a huge difference in the lives of all the kids involved, and now is the time to also make a difference in more kids’ lives." -Gloria Escobar.
Ms. Escobar also said that officially designated show and/or boutique & miscellaneous sponsors were to be given the following benefits: Print logo advertising on each of the library posters and fliers; a mention in local and community newspapers, plus other mass media; point-of-sale; and the honor of being announced during the event. Nicole Alt Photography was among many sponsors, having donated an 8X10 framed photo of a Fall landscape taken in nearby Tenafly, NJ.
"How can you participate and help your library’s programs? By joining us at special events such as the recent Fashion Show at the Englewood Free Public Library... to help enrich the lives of children and youth! We appreciate your help." -Gloria Escobar, Special Events Coordinator, & Nicole Alt Photography.
