The City has partnered with an e-tendering solutions provider in a bid to induce greater financial, environmental, and social efficiencies in its purchasing process.
Toronto, Canada, November 25, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The City of Mississauga has partnered with Biddingo.com, Canada’s leading electronic tendering solutions provider. Mississauga’s continuous effort to be open, fair and transparent has led the City to move forward and utilize the most effective and efficient method to advertise and distribute bid documents – Biddingo.com. All of the City’s procurement related information will now be available at its central procurement page: www.Biddingo.com/Mississauga.
Vendors will no longer need to drive to the purchasing desk to purchase procurement documents, or to request amendments via email. City of Mississauga’s bid advertisements, electronic bid documents, document takers lists, and bid results will now be available through the procurement page. Suppliers interested in doing business with the City must complete its Online Vendor Application form on this page; the City will now use this database to directly notify and invite suppliers to bid.
