Russell Bedford Representative Elected Vice Chairman of ICPAK, Kenya
The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya has named Abdulwahid Aboo as Vice Chairman of the Council.
London, United Kingdom, November 26, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Abdulwahid Aboo, managing partner of the Russell Bedford network's correspondent firm in Kenya, has been elected Vice Chairman of the Council of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
He has been on the Council of ICPAK for the last five years. He is also on various committees such as the Practitioners Development committee, which he currently chairs. In addition, he serves on the Small and Medium Practitioners committee and was a founding member of the Audit Quality Assurance committee.
Abdulwahid Aboo has been in the accounting profession for more than 35 years. He established his audit firm, recently rebranded as AAC Kenya, in 1980.
His firm offers a comprehensive range of professional services including accounting, auditing, tax consulting and compliance, management consulting, corporate finance assistance and investment advice. AAC Kenya has been affiliated with the Russell Bedford International network since 2005.
ICPAK is a statutory body established under the Accountants Act, 2008 for the regulation of the accountancy profession in Kenya. It serves as the umbrella body that oversees the activities of qualified and registered Certified Public Accountants (CPAs).
