Spyjinks Abound in this Tale of Mistaken Identity and International Intrigue

Denver, CO, January 27, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Non-Stop Action with Dangers and Fun: The Ironical-Geographical Mystery is about a man who devoured spy novels as a kid, then switched to detective novels, and along the way decided that he wanted to become a private detective. Life instead handed him a job as a magazine reporter for a cheap rag in New York City, where he use the nom de plume Teddy Gossip. His editor isn’t too crazy about Teddy because he’s convinced he’s too irresponsible and lazy to do the job right. But when a sensational murder case crosses the editor’s desk and all his valued reporters are either too sick or busy with other assignments, Teddy becomes the only choice to go to London to investigate the upper crust of British Society:

“‘Where there’s a murder, Teddy is indispensable, you know.’ I felt flattered. Maggie was great. ‘I’ll have to return her twenty bucks,’ I recalled. Maggie went on: ‘The aristocrats always keep their mouths shut. They don’t betray their own kind. You’ve got to interrogate the servants, maids, and drivers. And who can do this better than Teddy? He could have a drink with one person, hop into the sack with another—and presto, he will be able to unearth information that even the police couldn’t dig up.’”

Soon after Teddy arrives in London, he finds that the murder suspect—Lord Powell—is on the lam. When Teddy decides to follow a lead, he soon finds himself on a dangerous and convoluted path that has him hopping from Europe to Asia to South America—and up to his neck in trouble with the KGB and British Intelligence.
