Motorcyclist and Biker Rights Attorney Paul Lancia Urges 2010 Year End Motorcycle Insurance Policy Review

Boston, MA, November 29, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Motorcyclist and Biker Rights Attorney Paul Lancia urges all motorcycle riders and bikers to conduct a 2010 year end Motorcycle Insurance Policy Review.

Most riders and bikers maintain the minimal insurance coverage on their motorcycles. 2010 resulted in numerous riders and bikers involved in accidents with automobiles that had little or no insurance coverage. When these riders looked to their own policy for coverage, they discovered that they had little or no coverage. As a result, these riders and bikers had minimal available insurance coverage to address their personal injuries, lost time from work, scarring and other damages resulting from an accident.

Attorney Lancia encourages this year-end review of the insurance policy in effect. If your coverages for uninsured and under-insured motorists is minimal, then talk to your insurance agent and make sure that you have this coverage increased to the maximum when your bike is back on the road. Discuss other available coverages with your agent, including coverage for when you are involved in a solo accident. The cost for these additional insurance coverages are affordable and highly recommended.

A good rule of thumb is to remember that regardless of fault, the motorcyclist usually comes out on the losing end of an accident. Reduce your exposure and maximize your own motorcycle insurance coverages.
