Upheaval Media, LLC Publishes Me and My Big Career Book Created by Detroit School of Arts Twins

Detroit, MI, November 30, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Karen and Kevin Hill, twins both 16 at publication date, created the newest children’s book sensation, Me and My Big Career. Karen Hill, a senior film student at Detroit School of Arts (DSA), proposed the fictional story to her mother and owner of Upheaval Media, LLC., a media publisher. Her brother, Kevin Hill, a senior visual art student, also at DSA , illustrated the cover and pictures for the 24 page book for children ages 0-9 years.

Me and My Big Career is a story of Andrew who wants to leave his small, small, small town to become a star. Andrew explores 16 careers, many in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), before he settles on his chosen career. Read the book to learn the career he chose to become a star. Don’t be surprised that Andrew did not become an actor as there are many ways to become a star.

Their mother, Ida Byrd-Hill, has spent 10 years as an educational activist to ensure the twins ideas flourish and prosper. She and the twins believe every child should be encouraged to see the world as a stage and to freely discuss their ideas, hopes and dreams. They hope, Me and My Big Career, facilitates that discussion and inspires future career success worldwide, especially amongst students in the inner city.

Many inner city students fail as they are not driven by their dreams. Often, no one even asks them to dream or verbalize their dreams. Incidentally, the twins seek their stardom, Karen as a filmmaker and Kevin as an engineering/ physics inventor.
