The tickets are available in printed or electronic form and valid for both seniors and their caregivers or families.

Knoxville's Community Action Commitee (CAC) is providing free transportation to the Expo on Friday, January 21 from area senior centers for groups upon request. Interested parties can contact their local senior center for additional information.

Karen Ray, co-founder of the Healthy Living Expo, has a passion for the health of people in East Tennessee. "What motivates me to do the Expo," Ray shares, "is learning of people who participated in health checks where the early detection helped save lives, or hear how the expo inspired someone to quit smoking or lose weight. Each year the Expo changes people’s lives and I feel privileged to be a part of that."

While health has a serious side, the Expo strives to create a fun side. Each day is filled with entertaining activities, informative speakers, and exciting demonstrations. Ray states, "I want visitors to the Healthy Living Expo to learn healthy living can be fun." There will be scheduled walks, cooking demonstrations with sampling and a main stage with dancing, exercise and health information, all with prize drawings after each event. "You can even play bingo at the expo if you want," says Ray.

Seniors will find exercise ideas, food sampling, free health checks and abundance of information from over 100 exhibitors at the Expo. For more information contact Healthy Living Expo, (865) 851-8141 or visit the website: www.TheHealthyLivingExpo.com
