Los Angeles, CA, December 01, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Joseph A. Anderson has become a recognized iconic image of one of the largest marketing campaigns in history; the Call of Duty: Black Ops video game.

In conjunction with the much anticipated release of Call of Duty: Black Ops, Activision and Treyarch have based one of the largest marketing campaigns in history with the face of Joseph A. Anderson. Joseph is not only on the cover of the game, but he can be seen on billboards, magazines, television, and Internet all over the world. His “sitting bull” image is rapidly becoming iconic. You can also choose to play his avatar in the game.

“When I was asked to help develop character looks for Call of Duty- Black Ops, I knew Joe should be one of the faces. He has a cool and natural Steve McQueen like quality. He was a solid soldier and he is a solid actor. This image proves it,” said Dagger Media Groups CEO, Jared Chandler.

About Joseph A. Anderson

Joseph A. Anderson served 4 ½ yrs on Active Duty in the US Army as an Infantry soldier. With an overseas tour and a deployment, he was well decorated when he separated from the Army honorably as an E-5/Sergeant. He performed in theater productions before moving to Los Angeles in 2005 to further his acting career.

He works often with fellow veterans and together with Dagger Media Group and Quest Pictures LLC to make high quality training films for the US Army and US Air Force. These interactive films have already saved lives by training our young soldiers before they deploy to Iraq, Afghanistan, or Somalia.

As an actor, Joe has been cast many times for the military roles, but has worked quite often playing non-military parts as well. His credits span across TV and Film, such as, Crossing Jordan, The Shield, Hancock, Inception, and commercials like Verizon, and Bud Light to name a few. He is now working on and starring in a film called Poet's War, which takes place in Iraq.

Joe was first introduced to the Call of Duty franchise acting in a video for the Call of Duty Endowment. C.O.D.E was established around the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The video which was created by Jared Chandler (DMG) and Quest Pictures has raised millions of dollars to help veterans find jobs after their military separation.
