Dover Downs Hotel & Casino to Introduce Environmentally Responsible Amenities

Dover, DE, December 02, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Dover Downs Hotel & Casino, in an effort to contribute to the global eco-friendly initiative, will add a new line of fully biodegradable guest amenities called Environmental Responsible Products (ERP™) from Concept Amenities. Beginning in December, Dover Downs Hotel & Casino will provide fully biodegradable guest toiletries of the highest quality as part of Concept Amenities’ “Shades of Green” campaign.

The new line of ERP guest toiletries, Concept Amenities’ classic Earlsley & Windsor collection, includes nourishing shampoo, conditioner, bath foam and body lotion, as well as accessories like shower caps, grooming kits and shave sets. The liquids and soaps largely are formulated to contain no parabens, sulfates, mineral oil or propylene glycol typically found in hotel guest amenities. The amenities are not only environmentally responsible, but also fresh, healthy and aesthetically appealing.

Concept Amenities has an exclusive global license with Bio Tec Environmental LLC to use their Eco Pure© in the hospitality industry. Eco Pure© is a non-toxic, organic additive that renders different polymers 100% biodegradable when disposed of in landfill. Eco Pure© does not require specified conditions in order to break down, whereas many cornstarch, plant-based bio resins on the market take much longer to biodegrade and only when under pressurized conditions in an industrial composting facility.
