A-List Celebrities Go Ionic with Colorful Wrist Watches
American Music Awards: the On-site boutique attracts celebrities to fashion forward swag with charity causes in mind.
Los Angeles, CA, December 01, 2010 --(PR.com)-- With the onslaught of the recession, fashion took a turn that has style and functionality in mind. Celebrities have taken notice of the fusion, making the trend their own. The colorful little rubber watch, IOION, already grabbed the attention of celebrities like Adam Lambert and Katy Perry, and is now generating a buzz around Hollywood and the music scene after popping up at the 2010 American Music Award’s on site boutique.
IOION enjoyed nonstop traffic at their AMA boutique–attracting stars like Natasha Bedigfield, and Dexter’s Julie Benz, who was especially interested in IOION’s work with Children of the Night, with the glow-in-the-dark styles. Project Runway star Mondo Guerra stopped by to pick up his favorite IOION: a white Bud from the new collection, and Eddie Morales, Usher’s Long time choreographer, picked up brights and neons in all the Ion styles, which he and the other dancers wore during Usher’s AMA performance of “DJ’s Got Us Fallin’ In Love.”
Brian Littrell of the Backstreet Boys expressed specific interest in IOION due to their “Color your life with meaning” cause that connects fashion, functionality and philanthropy by partnering up with national charities that span social, health and environmental issues. Littrell suggests that IOION and his charity, “Brian Littrell's Healthy Heart Club” team up to bring awareness to heart-related health issues and said “…you [IOION] should partner with my charity, Healthy Heart Club… we bring awareness to health healthy related issues in communities and children… I like what you guys are doing.” Also Eric Stonestreet and Rico Rodriguez from 6 time Emmy winner Modern Family stopped by IOION to discuss a collaboration to raising funds for their education project.
IOION's Collectable watches, born in Italy, are a light weight unisex watch made with tourmaline-infused silicone. This Italian watch is a trailblazer in the rubber bracelets and wristwatch trend, producing their first style – the sports watch IOION Classic, in 2007. The IOION American launch in 2010 brought the health and environment friendly watches to the forefront of fashion and functionality.
