Plymouth Tube Expanding AXIS ERP Software Deployment
AXIOM® Sales, Accounts Receivable, Customer Service, and eCommerce Functions to Be Implemented Company Wide
Marlborough, MA, January 26, 2007 --(PR.com)-- AXIS Computer Systems (AXIS), a business unit of Made2Manage Systems and the leading provider of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software for the metals, wire and cable industries, today announced that Plymouth Tube Company (Plymouth Tube), a global supplier of specialty tubing and extruded shapes, has expanded its license for the AXIOM Enterprise Management System in order to deploy AXIOM sales and accounts receivable (AR) functionality company wide, including both the Carbon and Alloy Tube Group and the White Metals Group. In addition to expanding the number of people authorized to use core AXIOM applications, Plymouth Tube will implement the AXIOM eSuite Web-based customer service application, as well as the AXIOM eCommerce extension.
Plymouth Tube uses AXIOM sales, inventory, production, and quality management functions across most of the company’s manufacturing locations. According to Plymouth Tube’s IS Director Lance Foust, several additional manufacturing sites also will be evaluating deployment of AXIOM over the coming year.
